Booking & Payment Information
How to book
1. Select a cruise via “Search & Book”. This will direct you to a page containing information about the itinerary, the excursions and the vessel.
2. Click on “Price & Booking” to look at the detailed deck plan and the available cabins (marked with a green dot). Select your favoured cabin!
3. During the next steps you need to select the number of participants and decide whether to book an excursion package or not.
4. Please check the overview of your booking and the total amount due and confirm.
5. Please enter your personal data and confirm after carefully reading the “Booking & Payment Information” and the “Terms & Conditions”.
6. As a final check please click “Mandatory Booking” and take a close look at your online booking details.
7. Check and print out the confirmation, which you will receive by e-mail a few minutes after the booking is completed.
8. The invoice will also be sent to you (or to your travel agency) by e-mail.
9. You or your travel agency will also receive the travel documents online approx. 14 days before you are due to travel.


Children
For children we offer a discount of 30% up to the age of 11. Please note that this discount will be deducted at a later stage. The booking confirmation shows the full amount.

EU Safety Certificate
The cost of your tour includes an EU guarantee of set standards of care. This certificate will be sent with your letter of confirmation.

Deposit and Payment
Following your booking, you can comfortably pay with your credit card (Mastercard and Visa only). A deposit of 20% of the total amount of the reservation is due on conclusion of the contract and on receipt of the travel price confirmation. The deposit will be deducted from the final total.
The balance is due 30 days before the day of travel, provided the travel price confirmation has been received by the client.


Insurance
May we draw your attention to the fact that you yourself are responsible for travel insurance. Unfortunately you cannot book insurance directly with nicko tours.

Travel Documents
You will receive your travel documents online approximately 14 days before departure, as soon as full payment has been made. These documents include further information on embarkation procedures and details of excursions. In a few cases however the documents may not arrive until a few days before the start of the tour.

Passports and Visas
Please check in good time that all necessary papers and documents needed for the cruise are valid and correct.
May we draw your attention to the fact that you yourself are responsible for all travel documents and (where needed) visas and for organizing any necessary inoculations. Failure to follow these regulations may result in a refusal to allow you to undertake all or part of your journey and thus involve you and your party in considerable extra expense. Should the lack of appropriate documentation lead to you being refused permission to travel, there can be no refund of payments already made.
It is not part of our service to obtain entry visas. This remains the responsibility of individual clients.


Travel to/from port
Travel to/from port of embarkation/disembarkation needs to be organized individually. Please note that should flight or train delays occur, the vessel cannot wait in the port of embarkation. In such cases the transfer to the next port, where embarkation is possible, must be arranged individually. Please contact the emergency hotline as soon as possible (0049-163 765 68 60). To book transfers between the airport or main station and the port of embarkation please contact us at info@nicko-tours.de.
